SHIPPING POLICY

SHIPPING
The minimum order value is £10.
We offer a range of delivery options covering the whole UK (excluding the Channel Islands), dispatched with national courier companies. Please note that Next Working Day scheduled delivery refers to delivery on the day after dispatch of your goods, and not the day after the placing of your order.
Order by 1pm Tuesday to Thursday for Next Day delivery. Please note we do not ship on the weekend. So if you order on Friday you will receive the parcel on Monday . For orders placed on Friday ,Special Delivery by Saturday is charged at delivery rate plus £4 extra. Please call to confirm.
Delivery charges are calculated when you checkout and are based on your location. All charges are based on a maximum package weight of 31kg. A basket of goods amounting to more than 31kg will be treated as two or more separate packages, and the delivery charge will be multiplied accordingly.
We dispatch orders with Fresh & Frozen items from Tuesday to Thursday. For Dry Goods from Tuesday to Friday
We generally dispatch orders within 1 working days of receipt. If, for any reason, there will be a delay of more than 2 days in the sending of your order, we will contact you by email to advise you of the reason for the delay and the expected day of dispatch.
Please note that delivery to some Scottish areas may take longer than 24hrs. All delivery times cannot be guaranteed, and although we work with the couriers to ensure that deliveries are made on time, events beyond our control can occasionally mean that goods take an extra working day to arrive. Please bear this in mind when ordering fresh or frozen goods as, we unfortunately cannot guarantee the quality of these items when dispatched to non-UK Mainland addresses.
Occasionally, items ordered are unavailable. When this occurs, we may either omit one or two items from the order, or substitute similar items of equal or higher quality at equal or lower price. and we will automatically refund your transaction amount if any goods are not sent or any cheaper products are substituted. We will never charge for more expensive items or increase your final payment amount without consulting you. If a large proportion of your order is unavailable, we will contact you by email or telephone.
UK Next-day service delivery by the courier will take place at any time between 09:00 and 17:30. We unfortunately have no control over delivery, and are unable to contact the courier to confirm exact delivery times. You will receive an automated email or text message when your goods are dispatched, and you will be able to track your parcel on the courier's website. If you do not see an email, please check your junk mail folder.
STORE PICKUP
You can order everything, Choose the Pick Up option when checking out.
We will send you an email or message to let you know once your order is Ready for Pickup and waiting for you at the shop.
Receiving the Parcels
It is the responsibility of the customer to be available when the delivery arrives. If the delivery is not accepted and the products are damaged due to this delay JOYThaiSpices is not responsible for any damages or claims whatsoever.
RETURN
We try to ensure all parcels are packaged well. All glass bottles will be protected with bubble wrap or cardboard boxes to ensure there are no damages during transit . We re-use good condition boxes to limit wastage.
Package contents must be examined immediately after receipt, and any shortages or breakages MUST be reported within 24 hours ( For Fresh & Frozen items must be reported to us within 2-3 hours after you received the parcels) . We hold the right to make the final decisions for any complaints after that.
If you wish to return any item after you have received your order, you may do so within 14 working days after the parcel being delivered. Items can be exchanged or refunded provided they are unopened in the original packaging and in a resale able condition. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for any fresh vegetables, chilled or frozen items.
*Please note that if you return any item due to a change of mind, you are liable for any return postage costs and postage costs for the exchange.
The packing of all orders is recorded by CCTV. Reports of breakage must be accompanied by photographs, emailed to sales@joythaispices.co.uk
Unfortunately we cannot take back any fresh or frozen food unless they had already perished when you received them.
Refunds
If we have to issue a refund to you due to any circumstance, this will be issued within 7 working days of the enquiry being raised.
Refunds for goods purchased under a promotional offer will be based on the terms of the promotional price. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Once we have taken the payment for your order and dispatched all the items, we are not able to offer refunds for any discounted items with limited or expired Best Before dates.
Refunds will be issued to the card that was used to pay for the original order.
